Egyptian pyramids and the Sphinx in Digi-World?

We arrived at episodes 19 and 20 of the "Digimon Adventures" anime series.

Pyramids, and the sphinx, all gets destroyed in the end again... (sigh)

However, it's interesting how they find out secret passages inside the pyramids (yes, there are 3 one on top of the other, don't ask any further...), and the structure of corridors leading to the funerary chamber seems to be like an actual ancient egyptian pyramid. I'm not an egyptologist myself, and for the series "let's debunk stereotypes about archaeologists" note that we mostly ARE NOT experts in Ancient Egypt, as there are looot more other civilizations to study and -personally- I think Egyptians just like Classical ones are overrated :P

Nonetheless, it's yet again a clear sign of real-world inspiration, in this case at the exact episode when the characters discover and make clear how they are in fact in a digital world "parallel" to ours.
