The Colosseum and other Ancient Roman stuff in Digi-World

We are in episode 16 of the "Digimon Adventures" anime series.

"The Colosseum".
Really?
And what about that classic-ish music in the background when they enter the place!?

Anyway, in this episode the protagonists finds this building amidst of a desert and one of them actually says it reminds him of "the Colosseum of Rome" (or is the italian translation only? Some national pride thing? To check in the future...), anyway it is a generic roman amphitheatre-like structure.
Still that's it, and it has gigantic undefined-style columns stuck all around it randomly, plus some stuccoed nightmarish statues on a side along with a maxi-screen and two football gates on each side.
Everything is on check basically...

Oh but, I might be too harsh in judgement, so let's say they've also wanted to pass the structurally-correct idea of the arena having an underground part as well -and we can see it when the protagonists dig out the floor masonry and fall down below...

Though the most famous archaeological monument here is the amphitheatre, due to the Colosseum, as a scholar I appreciate more the presence and details on the triumphal arch.
It has been poorly decorated on the surface with some gibberish lines resembling the reliefs but overall the architectural features seems to have been curated taking a three-gated reference -kudos to the landscape artist!

Needless to say, it all gets (partially) destroyed by the end of the episode, and here you have it as an extra: dinosaurs-like creatures fighting in a roman amphitheatre! ;D

Just to be clear, once again, taking every occasion to kindly remind that:
ARCHAEOLOGISTS DON'T DO DINOSAURS! -duh
